happy valentines day.

i know its a commercial holiday, but i still love it.  it helps us make it a point to tell the people we love how much they mean to us.

i have some cute valentines day swag below that i think you will adore just as much as i do.

i thought this was sweet and any age can sport it.  its a cute felted XO heart pin.  great to put on yer book bag for school, give to friends, put on a gift, or wear it on your shirt! show yer heart off!

these love pillows made by Nesta Home, doesn't just have to be for valentines day, these can go great in any room any time of the year.

i swear one day im going to take knitting classes, because you can make cute things like this.

KnitKnoodler is offering this pattern for 8 bucks. there is no shipping charge because she will email you the little diddy directly to you. sounds perfect to me.  i was going to write a bad line about now you can "make love", but i will just leave it up to your imagination. it was a bad pun. • 2 small potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 2 carrots, peeled and shredded
  • 1 package taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. Unroll pie crusts onto a lightly floured surface and, using a heart-shaped cookie cutter, cut out as many hearts as you can fit.

3. Brown ground beef or turkey in a large pan over medium-high heat.
4. Remove meat from pan and add onions and potatoes.
5. Cook until potatoes are tender and brown.
6. Return meat to pan and stir in carrots and taco seasoning.
7. Remove from heat
8. Spoon about 2 tablespoons of meat mixture onto the center of a pie crust heart. Sprinkle a little cheddar cheese on top of the meat mixture.

9. Top with another heart and seal the edges with the tines of a fork. Place empanada on an ungreased baking sheet.
10. Repeat with remaining hearts.
11.  Use a knife to cut a few small slits in the top of each of the hearts.
12.  Lightly brush each empanada with beaten egg.
13. Bake empanadas for 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
14. Remove from oven and serve with salsa, if desired.
